I have no formal training in art, nor do I have any informal training in art. I don't even like art. In fact, I have a passionate distaste for art. I find the entire artistic process pointless and I feel that most, if not all artists are reprehensible in nature.

You may ask why I have created this deviantart page, and that would be quite an astute query. It isn't that I have any desire whatsoever to become an artist or that I have any delusions of already being one, my goal is simply satire.

None of the submissions in my gallery have taken or will take more than five minutes to complete and thus far all have had absolutely zero thought put into them. Any "artistic merit" whatsoever is merely incidental.

I call this particular brand of art, "Drop Art," because I feel that any artistic work would be made exponentially better by dropping it off of a very tall building. It is also a combination of the terms "Dada" and "Pop Art," because it embodies a combination of the absolute lack of meaning and apparent hostility towards the patron inherent in Dada with the absurd simplicity that characterizes Pop Art.

So say it with me now, fellow practitioners of Drop Art, "No effort was put into this, it looks like shit, and I don't care!"
